New Normative

This surreal "Normative" collection makes advances to the Soviet everyday life of the 1950s-1970s and its features. The collection classicism was not been forced out by the principle of utility and efficiency. Under such circumstances, the furniture would remain normative and would not lose its originality and uniqueness at the same time. This modern chair is made of high-quality wood (with a pronounced fiber pattern) and a steel powder-coated frame.
The collection, dubbed as anti-trend by the studio itself, was showcased at Milan Design Week. "The furniture series is executed in three styles that complement each other — 'Stalinist Empire', 'Soviet Brutalism', and 'Functionalism'. Large solid wood elements, carved patterns, and surrealistic color compositions — each item reflects the peculiarities of its era." Past and present merge through excellent graphics and proportions. The design elements are conceived as still life components, and the interior as a cinematic frame, rhythmic and meticulously curated in color.
